In 2019, the demand grew and Liam struggled to keep up with production. Thankfully Liam was introduced to the Chin refugee community from Myanmar who live in St Albans and a fantastic partnership was born. For four years this amazing group have hand poured the candles which creates much-needed income to support family and friends in Australia and those still struggling in Myanmar.

A MESSAGE FROM LIAM

I created Kenshi Life Changing Candles as a Social Enterprise to make it easy for any person, club, school, charity or business to raise money from what we already spend on gifts.

As a young person growing up in a wealthy city like Melbourne, I found most people honestly want to help others, but the hectic demands of life can make it hard for people to give back regularly.

Kenshi is about enabling people to give back and help those who are in need through buying a candle which they would have bought already. This way we can raise without anyone having to donate any extra money. Not everyone buys candles, but we all buy gifts.

I understand that while a great story is important, nothing can replace a quality product. This means never sacrificing quality which is why our candles are made with the highest-grade natural soy wax, essential oils and cotton wicks with no shortcuts taken when it comes to quality.

SON AND FATHER

Not too often you hear about a father joining his son’s business!

Liam started Kenshi Candles at 14 years of age & after just 4 years & over 300k raised for various charities the candles helped Liam secure a scholarship to Princeton in USA!

Dad (Michael) is now full time growing Kenshi and helping over 100 different charities, schools and NFPs use the candles to raise money for their cause.

Please stock up on candles and feel proud knowing all candles purchased from all the Kenshi sites make a difference for people doing it tough.
